This picture was taken last May when Mistie graduated with honors from Northeastern Un. in Boston. Yesterday, Mistie attended orientation for her new school! She is going to get her Master's and become a math teather! So, she is a student again...

Mistie, your Dad and I are so proud of you! We have always known that you have a good head on your shoulders and can do anything you set your mind too!

Meet the newest member of the Conner Clan..Agape' , Alex and Brittany's puppy. They recently went on thier first anniversary trip to the mountains and took him along..

He is adorable, but I have to wonder with him already sleeping on thier bed, how adorable will he be when a new baby comes along...? I hope he survives and isn't too jealous...

Thought I would share some pictures of the expectant parents of my granddaughter.

Brittany (or Matilda as Ken likes to call her) is due just a few days shy of my birthday! It was on my birthday at first.. Just as long as her water doesn't break while we are eating Thanksgiving dinner....

As of right now, they still haven't named the little girl, but Ken has decided to call her "Little Alexis" no matter what the parents come up with!! He says, "Grumpa's have rights".

Yes, Grumpa, not Grampa..... Grumpy for short.

By the way, Alex will be an ordained minister soon!! We are proud for and of him! God is helping him live his dream!

Wow! I can't believe that it is August already...

So much has been going on, I do not know where to start..

Here are the Highlights...

1) Ken and I are going to be grandparents ( actually I am going to be Grandma, Ken wants to be "Grumpy" or "Grumpa")! Alex and Brittany are having a little girl in November!

2) Work, work, and more work.. I've recently been informed that I will be in Birmingham during the weeks of Sept. and Oct. and can come home for the weekends...this sucks and sucks even bigger since all the work I have been assigned is all nighters..

3) Ken and I are planning our first vacation together and without anyone else tagging along in about 6 or 7 years....The only time I'll not be in Birmingham in the month of Sept. is the 2nd week, cause we'll be on a huge ship setting sail to Nassau!!!
